TEACHERS
YOU CHANGE LIVES – WE’LL TAKE CARE OF SUPPLIES
Each year, teachers spend more than $500 of their own hard-earned money to purchase school supplies for their students whose parents are struggling financially and are unable to provide these items for them. For teachers at Title I schools, this doesn’t even begin to cover the need.
This year, ESF will give more than $2 million worth of products to select metro Atlanta Title I teachers.
Thanks to generous partners like Newell Brands, Kids in Need Foundation, and Scholastic we have many core classroom supplies like pens, pencils, markers, paper, notebooks, etc. as well as many non-core supplies that students need like headphones, puzzles, and games, treasure chest prizes and more so we’re inviting up to 2,500 teachers annually to shop for up to $500 in school supplies and materials for their classroom.
The Empty Stocking Fund is forming a Teacher Advisory Council made up of educators across metro Atlanta. This group of 25 educators will play a vital role in shaping our education initiatives, including our Teacher Resource Center, Teacher Kits, and our new ESF Education Express.
